Introduction to Old School For the New School

It's 2013 and our generation's taste of music has changed 360 degrees. New Genres have been created such as Dubstep, Trance, House and even Techno. I'm not implying that these are bad in anyway as I like them too. But my point is, our generation has lost it's appreciation towards the old days where our parents and grandparents sat on a wooden or bamboo chair, staring at the beautiful tears when clouds cry while enjoying a nice hot cup of tea. Those were the good old days when music was meaningful. Now it's all about the money but I don't blame the artists. If the public  wanted songs like the old days, till today it would have still been. Change in taste I guess is what happened to the public.

It's never a bad thing have the music these days produce, people also say there are hidden satanic signs or meanings in old and new songs. But I personally believe that its just a perspective misunderstanding and it's basically an image for the bands or artists to look and seem unique. If every artist in the world looked like Michael Jackson or Marilyn Manson or Skrillex, where would we find originality. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

  2. Well my article is basically about the appreciation of older songs such as the ones I have recently posted. Songs like these grab my interest because some old songs' lyrics can only be sung out not read or said out. That's the beauty of the older songs which i very much admire till today.
