Only Sing, Not Read

What I have learned from the songs from the older days is that, their lyrics cant be said out nor just read out to. For example, I have you under my skin by Frank Sinatra. You cant just tell your girlfriend you have her under your skin, anyone might get the wrong picture as to some might even get an impression that you have her in your pants or skirt. So the beauty of these words put together and made into a song is not very often heard of these days.  Let me have a chance to show you a few people who has these kind of lyrics.

These are 4 out of the many other people or bands that posses lyrics that cant be just read out.  Sometimes, I wish that people like these cant die cause they bring a lot of originality into their music and lyrics. Current music is great for me when looking at the mood but songs from the older days hit you in the heart not in the ears so that is why i have a sentimental value for songs like these. Though songs like these aren't able to sell in the market and thats why singer like these don't come up with new similar songs. But hopefully one day, some youngster will bring back the value of songs like these.

  1. In the old school music what are the difference between black musician & white musician, and what was their impact on international music scene? And how about electronic synthesizer, has it killed the originality of old school rhythm? Or without the synthesizers and other music gadgets, would have to singers and composers of today produce better music than old school?

  2. I'm not sure what black music and white music means other than a racial meaning, but I can say that the blacks in the older days produce songs like Blues and Jazz and Pop and Rap. While the whites produce songs like Rock, Ballad, Ballad Rock and Metal. Yes it has in my opinion, electronic synthesizers has killed the originality of old school rhythm. As for the last question, I cant say exactly because there are yes and no. Some have created better music compared to others in the older days. For example, Emeli Sande. Where as to the ones who didn't are like Rebecca Black, and in my opinion Paris Hilton. She is bad as a singer.
